Confirm company and contact details
Check the supplier's company name, contact person, email, phone, address, and payment account. If the payment account is very different from the company you are communicating with, ask for a clear explanation first.
Confirm product specifications
Before payment, confirm model, size, material, color, function, packaging, labels, certification needs, and acceptable tolerance. Do not rely only on short chat messages.
Confirm whether the sample matches mass production
If you have checked a sample, confirm whether mass production will follow the same standard. If the sample is only a reference version, confirm what will be different in the final goods.
Confirm payment terms and lead time
Confirm the payment percentage, payment timing, production lead time, shipping date, and delay responsibility. The more urgent the order is, the more clearly these points should be written.
Confirm shipping and after-sales responsibility
Check shipping method, trade terms, who pays freight, damage responsibility, shortage handling, and how quality problems will be reported. For cross-border sourcing, after-sales responsibility should be discussed before payment.
